Develop the competencies necessary to provide data-related services, draw conclusions from data or make decisions, in the data services area of focus at the UBC School of Information.

An essential focus of this pathway is data stewardship, which involves managing and maintaining data and metadata to ensure quality and integrity. A secondary focus is data analysis, especially the ability to summarize and visualize data to facilitate understanding and communication.
