Purpose of the project:

The purpose of the project is to elevate the maturity of records and document management within Product Integrity at lululemon by identifying gaps, creating training content, and using Sharepoint to tag and label migrated records and documents.

Summary of activities required to carry out the project:

  • Understand record series within Product Integrity and map to enterprise retention schedule to identify gaps
  • Create training for global team members on records management best practices
  • Support with migrating and archiving historical records/documentation in Sharepoint and apply metadata tags and retention labels

Expectations of the end result of the project, for both host and student:

  • The student will gain real-world RIM experience in a global, corporate environment and will have networking opportunities with other industry professionals.
  • The student will apply concepts learned in coursework to real life applications.
  • The host will gain completion of project work related to RIM objectives for the global product integrity team.

Time periods in which the project could be supervised:

  • Winter Term 1 (September – December)
  • Winter Term 2 (January – April)
