UBC is planning for a return to on-campus activity for Winter Session, in September 2021, aligning closely with the BC Restart Plan. Our main focus as we plan for the resumption of on-campus activities is safety, for all faculty, staff and students.
UBC iSchool Students, faculty and staff are invited to join our next student-focused Town Hall on Tuesday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). This is a great opportunity for our community, including new and continuing students, faculty, staff and LASSA presidents, to connect and share any questions or concerns that you may have. We understand that there may be some questions regarding our return to campus, and we will respond to your questions to the best of our ability.
If you have questions but are unable to attend, you are welcome to send your questions to the LASSA representatives (lassa.ubc@gmail.com), who will bring your questions forward on your behalf.
The event will be held online via Zoom (see the meeting details below). RSVP is not required.
Please note that the town hall will NOT be recorded, but a Q&A transcript will be distributed afterwards.
