On Friday, May 25, more than 70 students graduated from the iSchool. Before the congregation ceremony, the graduates and their families were invited to a reception in the iSchool where they received graduating gifts, family portraits and flowers for the ceremony.
The graduates included 50 MLIS students, 13 MAS students, 7 dual MASLIS students and one Master of Arts in Children’s Literature student. 11 students specialized in the First Nations Curriculum Concentration.
“Thank you for your hard work and passion,” says iSchool Director Luanne Freund, “Every year we see there are more and more opportunities and more need for the kind of skills that you have. Be bold – and I wish you all the very best as you move forward on to this next stage.”
