A pre-congregation reception at the iSchool on November 27th to celebrate the achievement of the 26 SLAIS students who had their degrees conferred in September 2014 and November 2014 (13 MLIS, 4 MAS, 2 MASLIS, and 7 MA in Children’s Literature).
Graduates and their guests were welcomed into the School by Dr. Luanne Freund and congratulations given by the current LASSA Co-presidents, Kelsey Ockert and Sarah Giesbrecht and SLAIS Alumni Association representative Kathryn Shoemaker. Food and light refreshments were provided before the those graduates in attendance headed to the convocation ceremony at the Chan Centre.
