On May 6, the UBC Staff & Faculty Sports Day returned to Vancouver Campus with a full-fledged afternoon of fun and activities. Our School was represented by the amazing members of the iSchool SLAYS! Team, comprised of Lisa Nathan, Charlene McCombs, Eric Meyers, Debra Locke, Richard Arias-Hernandez and Jerry He (from left to right).
A total of 69 teams and over 360 people took part in this year’s event, which was marked by tons of energy, bright colours, and a cheerful spirit in abundance. The iSchool SLAYS! Team was recognized as exhibiting the best team spirit and awarded this year’s trophy for “Most Spirited Team”. The event ended with an awards ceremony to recognize the award winners and hand out door prizes to dozens of people who participated.
