About

I am a passionate educator and designer teaching human-centered design courses that focus on developing products, services and systems aimed at enhancing a human’s life. In conjunction with my teaching endeavours, I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree at UBC’s Faculty of Education, concentrating my research on project-based learning (PjBL) in large online digital design courses, with emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and learning analytics (LA) for comprehensive student assessment. I earned a master’s degree in digital media (MDM) from the Centre for Digital Media in Vancouver, where I collaborated with a small team to develop an award-winning educational video game. In 2017, the University of Waterloo honoured me with an Excellence in Teaching award in recognition of my dedication in the classroom.

Combining my passion for education, design, and technology, I continually strive to advance modern teaching methods and foster engaging and impactful student learning experiences.
