In collaboration with on-campus and off-campus sustainability partners, the UBC Sustainability Initiative is very pleased to offer UBC graduate students the opportunity to work in a funded sustainability internship project. Students are hired by UBC and receive $20 per hour to work up to 200 project hours between January and April 2015 (the distribution of hours will be negotiated with the project mentor). Current UBC graduate students are eligible to apply.
We are looking for a graduate student to work with the UBC Sustainability Initiative, starting as soon as possible. The main task is to contribute to the development of a Digital Engagement Strategy, conducting research and analysis on best practices in digital and online engagement as they relate to sustainability and in the higher education and/or local government context. The student should have experience and interest in digital engagement, and excellent project management, research and communications skills. A position description is attached.
