UBC iSchool ranks first in the world for library and information management for the second consecutive year



 

UBC School of Information has been named best in the world for Library and Information Management graduate programs by the QS 2020 rankings for second year, keeping its top status from the 2019 rankings. UBC iSchool is also the only Canadian institution to rank number one overall in any subject of the rankings.

The QS University Rankings by Subject are  one of the world’s most popular sources of comparative data about university performance. The rankings based on academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact (H-index citations and citations per paper).

The school had an overall score of 93.9, but earned high marks for academic reputation, citations per paper and H-index citations. These rankings aim to help prospective students identify the world’s leading schools in their chosen field in response to high demand for subject-level comparisons.
