This years Keeping it ReAL (Research in Academic Libraries) workshop features several UBC iSchool professors and alum. The 2018 conference, which takes place at the University of Victoria October 26, focuses on the middle stage of research: collecting, gathering and analyzing data.
iSchool alum’s Shirley Lew and Baharak Yousefi, co-editors of Feminists Among Us: Resistance and Advocacy in Library Leadership will begin the morning with a keynote. iSchool faculty members Jennifer Douglas, Lisa Nathan, Rick Kopak and Eric Meyers will offer research methodology workshops. The day will close with an Indigenous Research Methods panel including iSchool alum and faculty member Julia Bullard.
