Faculty Position in Information Studies – Instructor
The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active record of teaching, graduate supervision, research, and service in an interdisciplinary environment, and to teach and conduct research in the field of Information Studies within one of two primary subject areas, based on the needs of the iSchool:
- Information Science and Digital Technologies, including such specializations as information retrieval, design of databases, semantic web, infometrics/bibliometrics, data science/curation, digital media and digital collections.
- Public Knowledge, Information and Society, including such specializations as the changing role of knowledge organizations (e.g. libraries, archives, museums, media organizations) in society, information services, information literacy, scholarly communication, information policy, and digital civics.
