Bio

April Miller is the Manager of the World Bank Group Library & Archives (ITSLA). ITSLA provides staff and the public with access to information and services that foster knowledge, transparency, and accountability, and reflect history to enrich World Bank Group (WBG) functions. ITSLA is also responsible for: library research services and procurement of resources; WBG records management policy oversight; archival appraisal/records retention scheduling; off-site records center services in Pennsylvania; WB Policy on Access to Information implementation; promoting WBG history; and the preservation and intellectual control required to maintain access to archival records over time. Before joining the Bank in 2003, she was an Archivist at the National Archives of Canada, and she holds a Master’s of Archival Studies from the University of British Columbia.
