About Marina and Nanxi
Marina Botnaru (MASLIS Student from Moldova) – Back home I was the Chief Financial Officer of the Consolidated Unit responsible for the agriculture projects financed by the World Bank. I was honoured to work as a public auditor in the Court of Accounts before that. As an international student, I have experienced the challenges of the new environment, so I hope to share as much information as I have, to help you in your journey of graduate studies at iSchool.
Nanxi Liu (MLIS Student from China) – I finished my undergraduate in China and got my film Master of Fine Arts degree in San Francisco, US, where I worked after graduation for several years before coming to UBC. I am one of your Peer Advisors at iSchool and since this position is aiming to facilitate the challenging journey of our students to the new profession that they have chosen to embrace, you can talk to me about anything that you are concerned about. I am here to help you to achieve your goals and succeed.
