Several iSchool alumni are finalists for the BC Book Prizes:
- Bill Richardson (MLIS ’79) was shortlisted for the Christie Harris Illustrated Children’s Literature prize for his book The Alphabet Thief, illustrated by Roxanna Bikadoroff.
- Zoey Peterson (MLIS ’13) was shortlisted for the Ethel Wilson Fiction Prize for her book Next Year, For Sure.
- Kallie George (MACL ’07) was shortlisted for the Sheila A. Egoff Children’s Literature Prize for her book Heartwood Hotel Book 1: A True Home.
Congratulations to Bill, Zoey and Kallie! iSchool MACL adjunct professor Julie Flett was also nominated for an award.
