UBC iSchool alum Myron Groover (MLIS ’12) was recently named a ‘Mover & Shaker’ by the American Library Association’s Library Journal magazine. Noted as an “Advocate,” Myron was recognized due to his work in information policy, most notably on his criticism of Library and Archives Canada’s “Code of Conduct” for federal employees.
Myron is one of two Movers and Shakers from B.C. this year, and one of six iSchool alumni to be recognized since 2002.
