Lynn Valley Days is one of the annual highlights of the North Shore calendar. The community has welcomed this event since 1912. It’s a weekend for families, friends and neighbors to come together and celebrate. Unfortunately, COVID-19 changed their plans for this year and the event had to be cancelled for the health and safety of the community. But this turned into a great opportunity to learn more about this popular event.
As part of his Professional Experience project in the North Vancouver Museums & Archives, MAS Student Bryan Wood took a closer look at the NVMA’s Collection to find out more about the history and origins of the Lynn Valley Days.
