Code Club for Library Folk

You’ve done the workshops and you’re wondering what’s next? Dedicate some time with those new and barely-there coding skills. Code Club is an informal meetup for newbies and the nerds that support us.

We’ll spend time working on projects or doing self-paced courses (like Code Academy) in order to get more fluent and make the leap to applying programming and other skills. We’ll also plan for some mini-workshops or show-and-tell. BYOCode! Something you’re working on or interested in.

First meetup is Sept 30– we’ll do introductions and poll for topics for future mini-workshops. Bring yourself, your interests, and probably a laptop. Everyone welcome.

Sept 30 (Wednesday)

BC Libraries Co-op: 605 Robson Street, Suite 850

Time: 5:30-6:30PM

Please RSVP: http://goo.gl/forms/zGYjlgwhC0

Future dates: Oct 14 (Weds) and Oct 29 (Thurs)
