Are you getting ready for a career in children’s librarianship? Are you preparing to apply for work in a public library? Do you like visual storytelling or just hanging out and learning something new?
In this workshop series, you will be introduced to the rationale for using felt fabric-based versions of stories, songs, and rhymes to support early literacy learning in libraries. Using low-cost, simple materials available at dollar and craft stores, you will be able to make four different projects to integrate into your storytelling repertoire or just for fun.
