Assistant Clinical Professor Dr. Alan Hoffman from the UBC Department of Medicine has generously donated a CZUR ET24 book scanner to the UBC School of Information for faculty and students to use. The overhead scanner is an efficient and high-resolution method of digitizing archival materials.
Dr. Hoffman will be visiting the iSchool on December 4th at 1pm in the Terrace Lab to provide information about the CZUR ET24, and to give a demonstration to faculty and students who are interested in using it. This is a great opportunity for those in archival studies or otherwise to learn more and gain skills in using this overhead scanner.
