July 2016 will see the retirement of Susie Stephenson and Judith Saltman. To acknowledge and honour their individual contributions over 25 plus years to our students, our School and the profession SLAIS would like to establish 2 awards in their names, but we need your help.
What your Donation will do
The Mary Sue Stephenson Award for Excellence in Adjunct Teaching will be awarded annually to an outstanding Adjunct Professor and recognizes the work Susie has undertaken co-ordinating all Adjunct teaching in the School.
The Judith Saltman Prize will be presented annually to a student studying in the Master of Arts in Children’s Literature program and is being established to recognize the incredible contribution Judith has made to the field of children’s literature and the MACL program at SLAIS.
SLAIS the iSchool@UBC will match contributions made to these awards to the sum of $5,000.
All donations are eligible for a tax receipt.
