Dual MASLIS student Caleigh Matheson receives Aboriginal Graduate Fellowship

Congratulations to Dual MASLIS student Caleigh Matheson on receiving an Aboriginal Graduate Fellowship!

The Aboriginal Graduate Fellowship is a merit-based fellowship that is awarded to current Indigenous students who are engaged in a thesis-based full-time graduate degree program. All Indigenous students are eligible to apply, but priority is given to Indigenous students whose traditional territory falls, at least in part, within Canada. This includes Canadian First Nations, Métis or Inuit students and may include Indigenous students from Alaska and other states of the USA.

Fellowships are awarded as a one-time award per degree program. Award winners are selected on the basis of academic merit through an annual competition, administered by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Approximately a dozen new fellowships are offered each year.

Congratulations Caleigh!
