School of Information: Beach & Park Cleanup Party 2026

Date: June 4th, 1pm to 4pm.
Location: Jericho Beach.

UBC School of Information is hosting a Beach & Park Cleanup Party. Join the cleanup for prizes, food, and fun!

Please register below to join the cleanup. The event will happen regardless of weather.

Thank you to UBC Workplace Sustainability for making it possible to provide funds for cleanup equipment and prizes.

What do you need to register?

Make your registration experience as seamless as possible! If you are a Team Captain, make sure you have the following:

Team Information (name, email, and phone number of every team member)

Find a Team

Teams are comprised of a maximum of 6 team members. You can choose to register with a team or register as an individual. All individuals will be provided with the option to be put together with other individuals to make a team.

Find a Captain

Volunteer to be your Team Captain or choose one person to be your Team Captain. This person will be responsible for registering the team online, tracking garbage collected by the team at each cleanup.

Participants Waiver

All volunteers must sign a waiver before taking part on any of the cleanups. Team Captains are responsible for all of their team members to read and sign the waiver. Physical copies of the waiver below will be available for participants to sign at the meeting point.
