Congratulations to Professor Emerita Luciana Duranti, who received the Ingegno Italiano Award for Social Sciences and Humanities from the Embassy of Italy to Ottawa. The Ingegno Italiano Award is awarded to Italian scientists and researchers working in Canada, who have contributed significant achievements to life sciences, physical and engineering sciences, and social sciences and humanities.
The Ingegno Italiano Award recognizes Dr. Duranti’s research on archival theory and practice for the proper protection and permanent security of records in increasingly challenging and intricate electronic systems.
