This conversational talk will chart the course of Rebekah Adams-Brush’s career, from a brief stint in academic libraries to a permanent home in public librarianship. She has worked with seniors, adults, teens, and children – from a tech-focused role, to administration, to the sometimes very silly (and always very rewarding) world of children’s librarianship.
This talk will discuss what the work of public libraries really looks like on the ground in 2025 – the joys and the challenges – and will leave ample time for questions and student-led discussion.
