Holding Space: a conversation on BIPOC experiences in library spaces

The Ontario Library Association invites all BIPOC library workers and students to attend this BIPOC-only conversation to share our experiences navigating these spaces, to reflect, and, echoing Lydia XZ Brown, “to hold space for each other”.

This BIPOC-only session will be facilitated by Oy Lein Jace Harrison (Ryerson University | Federation of Black Canadians) & Abeer Siddiqui (McMaster University). This session precedes another open discussion for all library workers interested in learning more about effective allyship.
