Graduate Academic Assistant – Portfolio Course Development

This GAA position will work with Dr. Luanne Sinnamon and Rick Kopak to assist with the development of a course proposal for an MLIS Portfolio course. Specific duties will include:

  • Developing the course syllabus and proposal
  • Review and testing of portfolio systems and platforms
  • Development of content for course modules

Doctoral or Master’s students with interests in teaching; strong analytical and written communication skills; and technical skills sufficient to critically review web-based systems will be suited to this position. Experience in instruction and/or course development will be an asset.

This position will run from mid-July to September 30, 2022. Salary will be $25/hour for 10 hours/week. Please send a CV and letter outlining your interest in this position to Luanne Sinnamon (luanne.sinnamon@ubc.ca) by July 3, 2022.
