Ever wondered what sort of career options and work is done in health libraries?
Do you need a health background? What is a systematic review? What is it like during COVID-19?

HLABC (Health Libraries Association of British Columbia) is hosting an informal and casual student information session which will go over the organization’s website/mandate, discussion of membership benefits and yearly offerings, continued education events, and student perspectives and opportunities for involvement. There will also be a brief panel and discussion with a senior and early career health librarian about their experiences and insight into the field. Come join us to find out more and ask your questions. We look forward to hearing from students that are interested in considering health librarianship!


About Health Libraries Association of British Columbia (HLABC)

HLABC is an organization comprising health libraries, their staff, and others interested in health information in British Columbia. It was formed in 1978, with an initial membership of 45. It has grown to over 90 members, representing health libraries in hospitals, academic and government environments, non-profit organizations, public libraries and research corporations. Students have access to free membership in their first year.
